2009 - 2010 OMA WINTER NATIONALS RULEBOOK AND SERIES INFORMATION

-Registration opens 8:am Saturday and 9:00 am Sunday

- Gate Fees: $10 / Weekend Pass

-Please fill out registration form completely; Bike Brand and Bike # are mandatory; this assists in registration running smoothly and quickly
(do not have a bike #, registration will assign you a temporary number)

-Make checks payable to UOR Racing

- For 2011 all racers must be a member of UORRA. Membership Fee: $10

-Campers… Place 2-day tickets in driver side or front dash window-to avoid being woke early Sunday morning.

-Please be kind & keep camp litter free as much as possible, let’s respect the landowners who support our sport.

-All spectators’/racers’ pets on a leash.

-Pro’s stage according to point standings, no points… then by drawing numbers (drawing at autograph session or staging)

-1 minute delay between starting rows. Starting rows will be determined by number of entries in each class. As an example: Pro’s row 1, A Classes row 2, B Classes row 3, C classes row 4, Beginners/Women row 4. If classes are large: Open & Lite A classes row 2, Age group A classes row 3, Open & Lite B classes row 4, Age group B classes row 5, and so on.

- OMA sponsor giveaways! List of product giveaways to be read while scoring ATV Main Event (Sat) and M/C Main Event (Sun). These will not be sent out, you must be present at the track to receive. So be sure to check the list before you leave the track! Only race registrants are eligible for awards.

-No pit racing! Please be respectable of others and children’s safety at the track by keeping it in low gear!

-You invest into the track you are competing on so please stay on it! Do NOT cut thru pennant banners displayed – if this continues penalties will be distributed. Please respect your track!

- Racer’s will pit in designated pit area. Racer’s and Pit Crew may Not Pit on the track, however pitting off to the side of the track is allowed. Racer’s and Pit Crew may Not Pit in designated scoring area… NO EXCEPTIONS!

- For Pro Classes it is mandatory to have blue backgrounds/yellow numbers, OMA will NOT provide one set to each Pro for 2009, backgrounds/numbers are available for purchase at registration, $60 a set ($20 each plate). If a Pro racer does not have blue/yellow, he will NOT race, and NO refunds! *Exception follows...

- Pro Class may bid out the "side" number plates to personal sponsors. We encouraged our Pro racers to act upon this for a distinctive promotional strategy for the Series and Racers to be recognized in the industry media. *Must be done professionally, NO decals on just a number plate!

- For Pro Classes... 0 Throw Away.
- For Amateur Classes... 1 Throw Away.

- All age group classes will be determined by the age of the racer at the first race of the season, being Oct 1.

All m/c's & atv's in competition must be identified with the correct class numbers and be displayed in the proper locations as described. UORRA assumes no responsibility for scoring vehicles with unrecognizable numbers. Having Numbers on your bike is NOT an optional rule.

All m/c's & atv's in competition must have identification numbers in the following locations and sizes:

--Minimum 6 inches high with ½ inch wide strokes on
     each side number plate (Pro Class excluded, See below)

--Minimum 6 inches high located on the front plate of the
           vehicle and plainly visible (All Classes)

- MotoTally Transponders: $10 to rent / $5 refund if returned

- BEWARE! Course Cutters. If you are caught off the course, you will be disqualified. No If's, And's, or Defense! Disqualified. We will not tolerate course cutters! Consider yourself warned.

- If you are racing the OMA National Series…
OMA Winter points transfer to the OMA Nationals Series goes as follows… Winter Pro and A Classes will be scored according to overall results (Points to be appointed according to overall scores for Winter Pro and A Class Entries Only). All other classes will transfer accordingly.
